Bentonite Polymer is a super quality product specialized in drilling constructions, especially for weak geological foundations (running sands, thick muds, soil caters or salted infection which often cause collapsed problems happened with conventional bentonite having low viscosity <45s) or applied for pipe drilling with large diameter (1,500-2,500 mm). The mix ratio is normally 35-50 kg/m3.
Bentonite Polymer has at least 7 oustanding properties and special behavior:
- High viscosity (60-120s), high gel strength, high yield point => Anti-collapsed for boreholes, D-walls; Even safe for weak grounds (sandy silts/gravels,…)
- More hydrophobic, less contamination => Superclean for concrete (UPV > 4000m/s)
- Thin tight tough filter cake => High shaft friction
- No settlement => High end bearing
- Using right after stirring => Speed progress up
- Liquid is good in 3 months => Saving material
- Saving cost
